Mr. Ram Gopal Shiwakoti is the Chief Executive Officer of Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company Limited (MBJCL), appointed through an open competitive process to lead the company in completing its flagship 102 MW Middle Bhotekoshi Hydropower Project. With nearly three decades of service at the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), he brings a wealth of institutional and technical expertise to his role. During his career, he also served as the Executive Director of Chilime Hydropower Company for over two years, worked as an international consultant for the Melamchi Water Supply Project, and contributed to major undertakings such as the Pancheshwar Hydroelectric Project. His leadership at MBJCL focuses on overcoming operational challenges, including delays caused by local issues, while ensuring timely project completion and laying the foundation for new hydropower ventures. Backed by his extensive background in Nepal’s energy sector, Mr. Shiwakoti is committed to steering MBJCL toward achieving its long-term vision of delivering clean, reliable, and sustainable energy to the nation.
